Our Story

My name is Leila, and treasure hunting has always been a part of my life.

As a child I reluctantly spent countless weekends being carted around to every yard sale in town by my father. I wished I were invisible every time he took me into a second hand store. There was a bit of a stigma attached to digging through peoples unwanted junk. As a grade school aged child in the late 90s, early 2K, it wasn't exactly the cool thing to do.

As I gained my independence, much to my surprise I was drawn to the yard sales and second hand stores that I had avoided as a child. I started to actually look forward to these excursions. There's a hyper focus that washes over me when I'm treasure hunting. An intense excitement when I find the perfect piece for my collection.

A collection can only be so large, one house doesn't need 120 unique sets of  cocktail glasses. And so; with each piece I find, I've started to imagine it's life on your coffee table, or in your kitchen, on our brunch table and housing your most precious pieces or jewelry. So much of what we have in this world goes unseen, unloved, unwanted. I wanted to create a platform to bring these discarded items home to where they will be truly adored.
